Nyama Choma

The nyama choma is a specialty of grilled goat meat. Roasted meat is very popular in Kenya where it is considered the national dish also in Tanzania.any gathering is an excuse for eating nyama choma, Swahili for "roast meat." From the finest restaurants to roadside shacks, roast goat meat is served up as a kind of social lubricant, often aided by copious amounts of the local beer. Nyama choma is always eaten with the hands, and common side dishes include kachumbari salad and ugali.

Pilau

Pilau is a traditional, beautiful fragrant rice dish made with many aromatic spices that adds an amazing depth of flavor to the rice. It can be made with either beef or chicken.

Pilau has a wonderful balance of flavors. It is a festive dish, which is never missing during special occasions or events. It’s made with rice cooked in a well-seasoned broth of Meat or chicken. Unlike the Indian pilau, the East African version does not use curry and it’s less spicy.

Chapatti and Beans

East African Chapati is a beautiful unleavened flat Bread eaten in East Africa in Countries like Burundi Uganda, Mozambique, Kenya, goes wel when served with beans.

mukimo

Mukimo is a dish of a Kenyan origin. It is traditionally served as the main dish of a meal, now in many parts of Africa. The nutritional value of this native dish is very high. Mukimo has been used as an alternative for different side dishes, such as rice, chapati, ugali, and pancakes, all used to accompany the main meal.

Noodles

Spaghetti is a food made from a mixture of flour and water into thin strips that are cooked in water or soup. It is an important food in many countries especially Italy, China, Japan and Korea. These days they are spread all over the world. The types that are eaten internationally are pastas of Italian origin, especially spaghetti.
